  ➼ എല്ലാ വർഷവും ജൂലൈ 26 ന് കണ്ടൽക്കാടുകളുടെ ആവാസവ്യവസ്ഥയുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനായുള്ള അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദിനം ആചരിക്കുന്നു.

  ➼ കണ്ടൽക്കാടുകളുടെ ആവാസവ്യവസ്ഥയെ "അതുല്യവും സവിശേഷവും ദുർബലവുമായ ആവാസവ്യവസ്ഥ" എന്ന നിലയിൽ അവബോധം വളർത്തുന്നതിനും അവയുടെ സുസ്ഥിര പരിപാലനത്തിനും സംരക്ഷണത്തിനും ഉപയോഗത്തിനുമുള്ള പരിഹാരങ്ങൾ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുമാണ് ഇത് ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്.

  ➼ 2015-ൽ, യുണൈറ്റഡ് നേഷൻസ് എജ്യുക്കേഷണൽ, സയന്റിഫിക് ആൻഡ് കൾച്ചറൽ ഓർഗനൈസേഷന്റെ (യുനെസ്കോ) ജനറൽ കോൺഫറൻസ് ഈ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദിനം അംഗീകരിച്ചു.

  ➼ "മാൻഗ്രോവ്" എന്നത് പോർച്ചുഗീസ് പദമായ "മാംഗു" യും "ഗ്രോവ്" എന്ന ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പദവും ചേർന്നതാണ്.

  ലോകത്തിലെ ഉഷ്ണമേഖലാ, ഉഷ്ണമേഖലാ ഇന്റർടൈഡൽ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ ഉപ്പ്-സഹിഷ്ണുതയുള്ള സസ്യങ്ങളാണ് കണ്ടൽക്കാടുകൾ.

  ➼ 1980 മുതൽ കണ്ടൽക്കാടുകളിൽ പകുതിയും അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായി. ചില രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ കണ്ടൽക്കാടുകളുടെ ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ 80 ശതമാനത്തിലധികം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.

  ➼ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിലെ സുന്ദർബൻസ് കണ്ടൽ വനം ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കണ്ടൽ വനമാണ്, യുനെസ്കോ വനത്തിന്റെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങൾ ലോക പൈതൃക സൈറ്റുകളായി നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.


👉🏻റിസോഴ്സ് എഫിഷ്യൻസി ആൻഡ് സർക്കുലർ ഇക്കണോമി ഇൻഡസ്ട്രി കോയലിഷൻ (RECEIC) ആരംഭിച്ചത്

  ➼ നാലാമത്തെ എൻവയോൺമെന്റ് ആൻഡ് ക്ലൈമറ്റ് സസ്റ്റൈനബിലിറ്റി വർക്കിംഗ് ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെയും പരിസ്ഥിതി, കാലാവസ്ഥാ മന്ത്രിമാരുടെയും മീറ്റിംഗിൽ റിസോഴ്‌സ് എഫിഷ്യൻസി ആൻഡ് സർക്കുലർ ഇക്കണോമി ഇൻഡസ്ട്രി കോയലിഷൻ (RECEIC) ചെന്നൈയിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു.

  ➼ യൂറോപ്യൻ യൂണിയന്റെ പരിസ്ഥിതി കമ്മീഷണറുടെയും കാനഡ, ഫ്രാൻസ്, ഇറ്റലി, ഡെൻമാർക്ക്, മൗറീഷ്യസ്, യുഎഇ മന്ത്രിമാരുടെയും സാന്നിധ്യത്തിലാണ് ഇത് ആരംഭിച്ചത്.

  ➼ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ G20 പ്രസിഡൻസിക്ക് കീഴിലുള്ള ഒരു വ്യവസായ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംരംഭമാണ് RECEIC.

  ➼ ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള വിഭവ കാര്യക്ഷമതയും സർക്കുലർ സമ്പദ്‌വ്യവസ്ഥയും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് RECEIC യുടെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം.

  ➼ 11 രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ ആസ്ഥാനമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന 39 കമ്പനികൾ RECEIC യുടെ സ്ഥാപക അംഗങ്ങളായി ചേർന്നു.

  ➼ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന വ്യവസായങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ വിജ്ഞാനാധിഷ്ഠിത പങ്കാളിത്തം, മികച്ച പ്രാക്ടീസ് പങ്കിടൽ, സുസ്ഥിര സമ്പ്രദായങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ സുഗമമാക്കാൻ RECEIC ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു.

  ➼ ഇംപാക്ടിനുള്ള പങ്കാളിത്തം, സാങ്കേതിക സഹകരണം, മതിയായ സാമ്പത്തികം എന്നിവയാണ് സഖ്യത്തിന്റെ മൂന്ന് തത്വങ്ങൾ.

  ➼ പാരിസ്ഥിതിക സുസ്ഥിരതയിൽ ശാശ്വതമായ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള ഒരു സ്വയം-സുസ്ഥിര സ്ഥാപനമായാണ് സഖ്യം വിഭാവനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.

  ➼ ജൂലൈ 26ന് മോദി സർക്കാരിനെതിരെ ഗൗരവ് ഗൊഗോയ് അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.

  ➼ എൻഡിഎ സർക്കാരിന് ലോക്‌സഭയിൽ വ്യക്തമായ ഭൂരിപക്ഷമുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയത്തെ പ്രതിപക്ഷം പലപ്പോഴും പ്രത്യേക വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യാനുള്ള ഒരു ഉപകരണമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

  • ആർട്ടിക്കിൾ 75(3) പ്രകാരം മന്ത്രിമാരുടെ കൗൺസിൽ ലോക്സഭയുടെ കൂട്ടുത്തരവാദിത്വമാണ്.

  • 50 അംഗങ്ങളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ ഏത് ലോക്‌സഭാ എംപിക്കും മന്ത്രി സഭയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം കൊണ്ടുവരാം.

  • ലോക്സഭയിൽ മാത്രമേ അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ കഴിയൂ.

  • പ്രമേയം ചർച്ച ചെയ്യുകയും ഒടുവിൽ വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

  • പ്രമേയം പാസായാൽ സർക്കാർ രാജിവെക്കണം. ഇത് ആത്മവിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രമേയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ്.

  • വിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് ഒരു സർക്കാരിന് ഭൂരിപക്ഷം തെളിയിക്കാനാകും.

  • അവിശ്വാസ പ്രമേയം അംഗീകരിക്കണോ വേണ്ടയോ എന്ന് ലോക്സഭാ സ്പീക്കർ തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നു.
